Kids band instruments can provide hours of fun for kids (and noise for parents)! I’m a big fan of Melissa and Doug toys and their Band in a Box is one of my favorites. It’s a great way for little kids to start to learn about instruments while making plenty of noise, which for some reason, kids love to do.
This set of kids band instruments comes with a tamborine, small cymbals, maracas, a triangle, a hollow wooden rhythm stick, and wooden clapper stick. All the instruments fit neatly in a wooden crate that comes along with the toy for easy storing.
I think every kid should have at least one set of kids
band instruments when growing up, it’s like a doctors set – it’s just one of those things they’ve got to have. I still remember my plastic set from when I was a little kid. It’s also a great toy for sharing because there are so many different instruments to play with. Unless, of course, all the kids want the SAME instrument, which tends to happen frequently…
The Band in a Box set will cost you just under $15 and like all Melissa and Doug toys, I think it’s a pretty good buy for the money. And if you can’t stand the noise in your own house, go ahead and buy it for someone else’s kid – you know you want to!!
