Are you looking for a fun & engaging color matching game to play with your toddler? The Crayola Undersea Adventures Color Matching Game is a great choice for little hands. It’s also a lot of fun for the whole family!
One of the most important things your child will learn as he or she prepares for school is color recognition. This educational board game by Crayola is a great way to help your child learn their primary colors. In addition, they’ll also get experience with matching and decision-making – two more very important skills for preschoolers. As with all board games, they’ll learn a thing or two about following rules as they learn to play as well, and that’s always a good thing.
If you’ve ever read my blog before, you know that I love, love, love Melissa and Doug. This latches board toy that they’ve made is no exception. Toddlers love opening and closing doors, fitting things in and out of place, slide things back and forth, etc. It’s also extremely good for them as they develop their motor skills.
Isn’t this stuffed elephant toy the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Honestly, I’m usually not a real big fan of stuffed toys because we just have too many of them around the house…and on top of that, they seem to multiply all on their own. But I have a 5-year old that absolutely LOVES animals and when I saw this elephant by Furreal Friends, I just couldn’t resist.
For the most part, I’ve avoided all of the computers for kids, believing that there are plenty of educational games available via software for my own computer and online games that my kids can play.
However, recently a friend sent my daughter the Fisher Price Fun 2 Learn computer for kids, and I’m officially hooked. I’ve got a 5-year old, who is slightly behind where she should be when it comes to things like letter recognition. She also has a slight speech delay, so I’m always looking for ways that I can help her to get caught up. I probably would not have bought this computer for her myself, but since it was a gift, I figured we’d hook it up and give it a try.
When I was a kid, my brother had the coolest wooden train set that I was constantly trying to play with. Since I was three years youner than him, he wasn’t real keen to share it with me.
I happen to have all girls, but I wasn’t going to let that little fact stop me from having a wooden train set for them (and me) to play with. I wanted one that was high-quality, easy to set up and take down, and reasonably priced. After looking at lots and lots of wooden train sets, I finally settled on the one by Melissa and Doug.
The 5th Generation iPod Nano’s are here and the 4th Generations are on their way out. But for a limited time, you can take your pick of which Nano you’d like – and if you choose the 4th generation Nano, you’ll enjoy some great savings!
iPods are a popular item with today’s kids. My daughter got her first Nano (the 3rd generation) when she was six and it’s been one of the most well-used items in our home.
These anti-gravity are a great toy for you kids. They provide a great alternative to sitting in front of the TV and computer all day and your kids get some great exercise while playing – just like the old days.
