I’m always VERY hesitant to buy products that I see on television, Why, you ask? First of all, in my experience, most television infomercial products are complete junk. They rarely work as advertised and anytime you call, they try to sell you everything but what you called to order in the first place.
So, when my daughters started asking, errrr, begging, for Bendaroos, I artfully ignored their pleas for months. And then they got smarter than me and asked their dad. Who bought it for them. Obviously.
After playing with them for awhile, I thought it prudent to write a bendaroos review for all the other parents that are avoiding the pleas of their children.
In all honesty, Bendaroos are much better than I expected they’d be. My two kids, ages eight and five, had no problem sticking them together and were actually able to make some pretty cool animals by using directions included with their bendaroos. Of course, they didn’t work as easily as seen on TV, but nothing ever does.
Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the bendaroos and my kids have had hours of fun playing with them – and, really, that’s all that matters. I’d say they are definitely worth the $19 that their dad spent on them! When we’re done with them we just store them in a Ziploc bag until the next time we are ready to play.
If you are considering buying Bendaroos for your child, I’d highly recommend buying them from Amazon as opposed to calling the number from the Infomercial. You’ll avoid all the annoying upsells and if you spend more than $25, you’ll also get free shipping through Amazon!
